Hoai-Phuong TRAN

(Trần Hoài Phương)

TRAN Hoai Phuong is a Ph.D. candidate at Sorbonne University (SU). He is a member of 2 laboratories: SIMM Laboratory (ESPCI Paris PSL Research University) & PIC Laboratory (joint laboratory of Total SE/ESPCI/CNRS/Sorbonne University). His research focuses on the Foamability of Oil Mixtures and its applications in the field of clean energy, improving lubricants for electric car motors. 

He completed 2-year preparatory class for prestigious engineering schools (Grandes écoles d’ingénieur) in 2014 at VNU University of Science – Talented Program in Physics (Vietnam). He received full scholarship and graduated from master's degree in engineering (Diplôme d’Ingénieur Grande Ecole), major in Physics & Chemistry at the ESPCI Paris – PSL Research University in 2017. He then obtained an Advanced M.Sc. degree in Science and Technology (Master Microfluidics) from PSL Research University in 2018 to sharpen his knowledge in this domain.

Hoai-Phuong’s research interests include energies, physics & chemistry of materials, petroleum engineering, environmental sustainability, microfabrication, applied physics in industry.
